Description
Overall Purpose of the Job

The project will be focused on conducting comparative life cycle assessments of the cradle-to-grave impacts of a range of natural, biosynthetic and chemically-synthesized macromolecular cryoprotectants, extending to techno-economic analyses of the most promising candidates. The PDRA will report directly to Professor Matthew I. Gibson but also work on a daily basis with Prof Shaver and his team. A strong research and publication track record is essential with demonstrated ability to lead and finish (including publishing) projects. You must have excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and teamworking skills.
