Description
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Research Technician, with a background in Neuroscience, to work within the young and growing group of Dr Nina Milosavljevic, which is based at Division of Neuroscience at the School of Biological Sciences.

The candidate will support the aims of the grant aimed to investigate the Role of the Amygdala in Modulating Affective State in Response to Visual Stimuli funded by BBSRC. This innovative project will investigate visual influences on the rodent amygdala in both mice and Rhabdomys, integrating behavioural, neuronal, and anatomical levels of analysis.

This position offers an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-motivated individual to work as part of a sociable multi-disciplinary team consisting of a post-doctoral researcher and 3 PhD students. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, experience with behavioural testing, and will be able to work with minimal supervision. Experience with MATLAB and DLC analysis is essential for the position.
