Residential Property Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Reading.

The firm’s Residential Property team handles a broad range of non-contentious residential property work, including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team, supervising junior colleagues, managing your own caseload, and providing high-quality, client-focused advice.

Duties include:

• Advising on the full breadth of residential property transactional work
• Supervising and supporting the development of junior team members
• Delivering consistently high levels of client care and service
• Making an active, positive contribution to a dynamic and ambitious team
• Keeping up to date with key issues within residential property law and sharing knowledge across the team
• Developing referral opportunities across the firm and engaging in business development initiatives

Requirements:

• 6+ years PQE (CILEX lawyers or Licensed Conveyancers considered)
• Strong experience in residential property
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and supervise junior team members
• Excellent technical, drafting, and commercial skills
• Strong relationship-building and client service focus
