Revenue Accounting Manager
Location: Surrey (Hybrid)

We are working with a high-growth, private equity–backed SaaS business based in Surrey that is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance function. This is a pivotal role in a scaling organisation, offering significant exposure to senior leadership, complex revenue streams, and future transformation initiatives.
As Revenue Accounting Manager, you will own revenue recognition across the business, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and scalability as the company continues to grow both organically and through acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15, including contract review and technical assessments
- Oversee month-end revenue close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Partner closely with Sales, Commercial, FP&A, and Systems teams to ensure revenue is correctly captured and reported
- Manage deferred revenue, contract assets, and billing accuracy across multiple SaaS products and pricing models
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in revenue accounting within a SaaS or subscription-based business
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS 15 and complex contract structures
- Experience working in a fast-paced, private equity–backed or high-growth environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a changing environment
- Systems-savvy, with experience of revenue automation tools or ERP upgrades an advantage
