Reward Advisor-Data and Analytics| FT| Permanent| Remote with some travel| Up to £43k DOE

We are now looking for an experienced Reward Advisor, with a focus on Data and Analytics to join our existing Reward team. As a Reward Advisor you will provide analytical and advisory support to deliver reward strategy and projects the People strategy, and provide Reward advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Building reward models by manipulating and analysing large complex sets of data from both internal and external sources to provide insights which will support decision making.
- Preparing models for compensation and benefit scenarios to understand and provide insight of potential outcomes.
- Support the development and maintenance of job and salary framework ensuring its fit for purpose.
- Leading on compensation and benefit survey planning and submissions ensuring that jobs are appropriately benchmarked.
- Being a day to day contact for internal Spire stakeholders and external providers for all reward matters
- Providing analytical support throughout the annual reward cycles including salary surveys, extraction and analysis of benchmarking data, creation of salary ranges, modelling and calculations of the salary review, bonus calculations, data production for reward renewals (e.g. life assurance), annual benefits window analysis etc… as well as being a point of contact for queries.
- Maintaining the benefits portal and managing activities on the associated recognition programme.
- Managing reward processes like mailbox and people tickets, documenting reward processes, and identifying opportunities for simplification.
- Providing data analytics, dashboards and reports to support management decision making.
- Supporting reward projects and people partnering teams.
Key Requirements
- Numerate with a passion for data, analysis and statistics, simplifying complex problems and developing recommendations.
- Experience of working in Reward and knowledge of fundamental aspects of Reward e.g. job evaluation, benchmarking, benefits management, pay reviews e.t.c
- A self-starter, who is able to assimilate information from multiple sources and proactively formulate a solution.
- Experience as an Analyst, preferably with a focus on reward analytics such as pay and benefits modelling and benchmarking.
- Ability to work in a cross functional remote team, with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Methodical and able to work to deadlines ensuring that work is accurate and quality checked with the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Experience of job evaluation methodology such as Willis Towers Watson or PayData.
- Advanced Excel Skills with a willingness to learn additional skills as required to complete tasks effectively
- Uses feedback and learning to continuously improve analytical work and presentational skills
