About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced
Risk Manager to join the
Sizewell C MEH Alliance, supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.
This is a pivotal role responsible for
leading the identification, assessment and management of risks and opportunities across the programme. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and project teams to ensure risks are understood early, managed effectively and aligned with project strategy.
Min 2 days per week at Bristol Aztec West Office
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and champion risk management strategy and best practice across the programme
- Provide strategic risk advice to Project/Programme Managers and senior stakeholders
- Manage and maintain the MEH Risk Register and alignment with assumptions
- Facilitate and support risk workshops and risk reviews with key stakeholders
- Drive the identification, analysis and monitoring of risks and opportunities
- Produce risk reports including qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Support quantitative risk analysis (cost & schedule)
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure risks are fully captured, assessed and mitigated
- Provide clear recommendations to ensure robust mitigation planning
Who we're looking for
- APM, PRINCE2 or similar project qualification
- Experience using Active Risk Manager (ARM) and/or Safran Risk
- Background in major infrastructure, construction, or regulated environments (desirable)
- Proven experience managing risk on large, complex programmes or projects
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, processes and reporting
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and delivery teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insight
Excellent communication and facilitation skillsAble to obtain a security clearance
