An opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join our Acacia Homecare team and be part of an administrative team. The role would include the need to provide an effective and professional administrative service working closely with the Care Manager and the different service leads to ensure that head office requirements are met. You will be required to provide on-going support to the service team

leads to set up interviews with potential employees and provide ad-hoc office admin support as well support the customer leads. The successful candidate will be a friendly enthusiastic individual who is not afraid to get stuck in and give support where needed.

As a Self Motivated Individual, Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensuring that paper and computer records are kept up to date
  • Rota planning for the following week for live in care and domiciliary care– ensuring all schedules are sent out every week and that all live in handover’s are managed in a timely manner
  • Collection and collation of data and maintenance of internal databases
  • Looking through CV’s and responding to applicants
  • Conducting brief telephone interviews
  • Organizing face-to-face interviews
  • Ad-hoc office duties e.g. filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Dealing with postal requirements
  • Greeting visitors
  • Participation with the on call xlqdzyr rota
  • Supporting marketing and social media

  • The Following Skills And Experience Are Required

    • An excellent level of written and verbal communication skills
    • You will have strong team working skills but be able to work on your own initiative
    • Organizational skills will be key to managing the activity of the office
    • The ability to follow and maintain set systems
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
