We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Band 5 rotation at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Occupational Therapist to gain experience and develop their skills within various specialties, including the acute hospital (elderly care, trauma & orthopaedics, acute stroke, surgery, and medical), inpatient general and stroke rehabilitation and community therapy.
We would love to hear from interested candidates who have a range of occupational therapy experience, which could include clinical student placements as well a post graduate practice.
Rotational posts are a great opportunity for your own personal and professional development. Interested candidates are encouraged to get in touch to find out more.
Services are delivered over a flexible pattern of working, including weekends.
On your application please clearly state the Occupational Therapy area you have had experience in, and why you are interested in working in a rotational post within our organisation specifically.
The role will allow the successful candidate to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in both assessment and rehabilitation, and there are opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The Trust is committed to on-going staff training and development, including our established preceptorship programme. You will have regular access to clinical and managerial supervision and support to complete clinical competencies. Opportunities to participate in service improvement projects are available, and we have a well-established Band 5 peer support group.
