Job Introduction
The Efficiency and Automation team is a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for streamlining business processes, reducing administrative tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. They use process automation to deliver quick win time savings to enable Bank staff to spend more time on value-adding activities.
The Bank’s strategy is centred around delivering operational efficiencies which create capacity to deliver increased business volumes and profitability, paired with a positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer outcomes to build on our unique relationship-based model. The Efficiency and Automation team is focused on achieving this through small and frequent quick wins.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of automation projects, including participation during requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment utilising best practices
- Participate in RPA code reviews, technical discussions and solution design sessions
- Support the refinement and prioritisation of technical backlog items to ensure timely delivery
- Apply best practice approaches to security, error handling and solution resilience
- Provide support and maintenance to existing automation solutions
- Develop Smart Form solutions to enhance process efficiency and capture structured data to support automation projects
- Contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
- Automation project delivery with focus on timelines, scalability, and value realisation
- Reinforce Agile ways of working, using pair programming, DORA insights and best practices to help to foster an environment of continuous improvement within the team
- Provide training and support to end users
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in RPA technologies and best practice

- Experience delivering enterprise automation solutions in UiPath and building dynamic forms. Using C#,SQL, JavaScript and .NET for end-to-end process improvement.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, including JSON handling and authentication methods
- Demonstrable experience of Lean - Agile development
- Strong background in systems integration, scripting, and scalable design patterns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, articulate and present complex issues clearly and concisely
