We are seeking a Salaried ARRS GP for 6 sessions per week
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well-organised, and supportive team at Chastleton Medical Group, located just outside the beautiful and historic city of Durham.
Were looking for a GP who:
a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the practice population
b. The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract
c. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
d. Effective management of long-term conditions
e. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
f. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
g. Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
h. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
i. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
j. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF
k. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
l. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training
m. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
n. Prepare and complete the revalidation process
o. Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
p. Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines
q. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice
r. Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies. Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement
