As a GP with Affinity Care, you will be acting within your professional boundaries to support our communities.
You will provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment/diagnostic skills, for patients within GP. You will work collaboratively with the Practice team to meet patient needs, whilst supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis, both physiologically and psychologically.
Sometimes you will be working with chronic conditions, sometimes acute, but at all times you will be providing the highest standard of patient care, with a supportive team around you, driving the best possible outcome.

There is an opportunity for a Salaried GP to work within Affinity Care on a temporary basis. The postholder, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, whilst supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills.
- Understanding of clinical Governance and quality issues, as well as health and social policy.
- Competent in the use of GP clinical IT systems.
- Ability to listen and empathise.
- Good time management.
- Problem solving and a 'solutions-focused' approach.
- Sound clinical skills.

- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
