Vestas Celtic Wind Technology > NCE > Pre-Owned Sales

Pre-owned sales department plays a crucial role in offering refurbished Wind turbines to meet customer needs. We are seeking a well-organized Sales manager who in the short term will be part of the Sales Management team located in Videbæk Denmark, responsible for all Pre-owned sales activities in UK and Ireland. Sales Specialist shall be based in UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Evaluate commercial contract negotiations and review tender materials to support sound decision making
  • Develop effective bid, negotiation, and commercial strategies to maximize sales outcomes
  • Gather and synthesize information from internal and external stakeholders to prepare project proposals for management approval
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging business opportunities and industry trends
  • Collaborate with team members to progress sales initiatives, even when working with limited information
  • Provide customer service and ongoing support to clients throughout the entire sales process
  • Serve as the first point of contact for commercial issues and manage internal escalations efficiently

  • Qualifications

    • Several years of experience in sales, particularly in managing large B2B contracts in the wind energy or similar
    • Project management experience is preferred
    • Skilled in long-cycle contract negotiation and closing skills
    • Background in a related field such as legal (FIDIC), technical, or commercial role
    • Deep understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products and how they are translated into a contractual context
    • Proficiency in English at a negotiation level
