We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you make. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the food you sample. We’re a truly global e-commerce company, with business operations in nearly every country and city on the planet. And we want to make it easy for everyone, anywhere in the world, to pay for their travel or do business with our platform – whenever and however it’s convenient for them.
The Role
We are looking to hire an experienced Programme Manager (contract) who will work in the Trips Data team, to manage delivery of the Trips business unit migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This is a contract role, initially through mid‑2027, aligned to the Trips SAP RISE migration lifecycle and based in Manchester, UK.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting and collaborating with product and engineering teams. And possess a strong drive to deliver high-quality software as part of a passionate, experienced and forward thinking Trips Data Function.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive the ERP Transformation: Manage end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA RISE migration for the Trips Business Unit (BTL), moving from the foundational ‘Prepare’ phase through the ‘Explore,’ ‘Realise’, and ‘Deploy’ phases to a successful go-live in 2027.
- Manage Complex Governance & Stakeholders: Act as the central coordinator between internal Booking verticals (BTL, BHFS, Booking.com), external implementation partners (EY), and the software vendor (SAP) to ensure alignment on outcomes and timelines.
- Own Phase Deliverables: Ensure the timely completion of critical phase-specific deliverables, such as the Program Charter, Key Design Decisions, Enterprise Structure definition, and Change Management concepts during the ‘Prepare’ phase.
