We are looking for a band 7 radiographer with good experience in cross sectional imaging to join our scanning team at the RNOH Stanmore site.
It is a great time to join the scanning department at the RNOH as we have recently upgraded our 3T MRI to a Philips Elition X with ambient lighting.
The post offers an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, experienced scanning radiographer who would like to develop their leadership and management skills as well as their clinical skills in cross-sectional orthopaedic imaging.
Job description
As a band 7 radiographer you will be integral to the smooth running and leadership of the department. You will work closely with other members of the team including radiologists, radiographers and assistants, and will be involved in the teaching of students and more junior members of staff.

Experience
Essential
- significant post graduate clinical experience to include cross-sectional imaging
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Day to day operational management and problem solving
Desirable
- Evidence of published/presented work
- Evidence of introducing change through audit
Qualifications
Essential
- BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registered
- IV cannulation trained
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in cross-sectional imaging
- Management qualification
Skills
Essential
- Able to convey information clearly to ensure the co-operation and safety of service users.
- Able to prioritise work.
- Good analytical and organisational skills
- Evidence of CPD and audit
- Good IT skills

- Evidence of writing and reviewing policies and procedures
