Production Manager – Experiential & Creative Production

Full Time | Essex (Onsite & Project Based) | £45,000

We’re working with a highly regarded creative production studio specialising in experiential, immersive and brand-led projects. They deliver complex builds and installations for high-end brands, taking concepts from brief through to fabrication and onsite execution.

They’re now looking for a Production Manager to join the team in a hands-on capacity, supporting the successful delivery of projects from briefing through to installation and post-project wrap-up.

This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced production environments and enjoys being deeply involved in the physical realisation of creative ideas.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in ensuring projects are produced efficiently, on time and within budget, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the end-to-end production process from briefing to final installation
  • Building and maintaining detailed production timelines
  • Monitoring budgets and cost trackers to ensure financial control
  • Liaising with suppliers to secure quality output and competitive pricing
  • Maintaining regular client communication, including sharing timelines and WIP imagery
  • Producing RAMS and ensuring full Health & Safety compliance
  • Conducting quality control checks throughout the production lifecycle
  • Managing onsite activity as required, including installations and sign-off
  • Ensuring all project documentation and internal systems are kept up to date
  • Exploring innovative, creative and cost-effective material and build solutions
  • Capturing dynamic production imagery for website and social content
  • Supporting sustainable working practices and material recycling

  • This role requires flexibility, as projects may involve evening or unsociable hours depending on install schedules.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong production management experience within events, exhibitions, theatrical, experiential or similar build environments
    • Proven ability to work to tight production timelines
  • Experience managing budgets, costings and production schedules
  • Confident reading drawings and working with artwork files
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Health & Safety awareness and experience producing RAMS
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working onsite and in workshop environments

  • Desirable experience includes:

    • CAD, SketchUp or CNC knowledge
    • Practical build skills (carpentry, vinyling, painting etc.)
    • Social media content creation
    • Forklift licence

    You’ll be:

    • Hands-on and practical
    • Detail-driven and quality-focused
    • Adaptable and calm under pressure
    • Passionate about creative production and brand experience
    • Positive, reliable and collaborative

This is a great opportunity to join a growing creative production studio where you’ll have real involvement in bringing ambitious brand experiences to life.
