Norfolk County Council is an organisation dedicated to supporting families of children and young people with special educational needs through the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process.

As an EHCP Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals responsible for optimising the EHCP process. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, overseeing processes, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. The Role

As the SEND Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals responsible for navigating and optimising the EHCP process.

Your Role Will Involve

  • Managing and inspiring a team of EHCP coordinators and Reviewing Officers
  • Overseeing the end-to-end EHCP process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, including schools, healthcare professionals, and local authorities’ colleagues
  • Monitoring and enhancing team performance through regular feedback and training
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service delivery

To Excel In This Role, You Should Possess

  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams within the special educational needs sector or wider educational services
  • In-depth knowledge of the EHCP process and associated regulations
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
