The Fund Finance Advisory (FFA) team plays a crucial role in supporting clients in their financing requirements at fund, GP, and ManCo levels. We help them devise solutions to better pursue their investment opportunities and then we structure, establish and manage the appropriate financings.

Your primary task will be to work in a team to support the origination and execution of fund finance advisory mandates;
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Perform the detailed analytical work that is the foundation that drives our advice;
- Take the lead in the preparation of the "going to market" documentation;
- Contribute to the project management of transactions;
- Provide support to clients when negotiating the documentation;
- Contribute to maintaining and developing client relationships, alongside the Business Development and Client Coverage Teams;
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with the fund finance community, positioning Validus as a trusted and respected advisor by every participant in the market;
- Maintain knowledge of the fund finance industry and products to the highest professional levels; and
- Support the team in further developing processes and efficiency tools
- 7+ years of experience with at least 5 in the Fund Finance industry;
- Proven track record in executing fund and / or GP financing transactions;
- Sponsor coverage with client facing and relationship management experience;
- Possessing great attention to detail while being able to consider the broader big picture; and
- Proficiency in a second European language;
- Exposure to hedging products; and
- CFA or CAIA certification
