The Internal Audit team are looking to appoint a Senior Audit Manager to focus specifically on financial and regulatory reporting including ILAAP, ICAAP, Treasury and Credit.
- Title: Senior Audit Manager
- Location: London
- Hybrid: 4 days in the office per week
- Salary: £90K - £100K per annum
About the role:
- The Senior Audit Manager (SAM) will play a critical role in delivering professional, independent, risk-based audits throughout the Bank.
- You will be accountable for the planning, execution, reporting and issue validation for allocated audits.
- The role requires a proactive approach in understanding and evaluating the risk profile of allocated auditable entities, identifying key risks, communicating control deficiencies effectively, and ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with management.
- The role is primarily an individual contributor position with accountability for complex audits, rather than a people management role.
Skills Required:
- Professional certifications such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CISA required.
- Minimum 6-8 years of audit experience within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of UK regulatory expectations (PRA/FCA).
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial and regulatory reporting (including ILAAP and ICAAP), credit, and treasury products.
- The ability to integrate IT and data considerations into business and prudential audits.
