Description

Synechron is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive FXO (Foreign Exchange Operations) experience to join our team working with a well known global bank. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing, designing, and implementing FXO processes and systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiencies.


Role:

  • Gather, analyse, and document FXO business requirements from stakeholders
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and system enhancements
  • Support the testing and validation of FXO systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Provide subject matter expertise on FXO processes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Assist in the implementation of new FXO platforms, tools, and workflows
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to FXO
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to support process redesign and system development


Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on FXO or foreign exchange operations
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, products, and workflows
  • Experience with FX trading platforms, risk management systems, and back-office processes
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation and technical specs
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and business process improvement methodologies
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior involvement in system implementation or transformation projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting FX operations


Role requires x3 day as week in SHEFFILED - Long term rolling contract - £450 Inside
