Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and enhance a Risk Reporting platform. This role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing delivery through Agile practices, and ensuring strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex requirements within a dynamic delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of risk reporting solutions
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective prioritization
- Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and operations
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support decision-making through analysis, insights, and strategic thinking
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability development
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management and communication
- Experience in process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML)
- Ability to define clear and testable acceptance criteria
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of web development and hosting environments
- Familiarity with the Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in risk reporting, financial systems, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Relevant certifications in Agile or Business Analysis
