Overview
Caytons Claims is a market-leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) claims function, renowned for delivering exceptional service and expertise in claims management.
We specialise in Professional Indemnity claims and other complex insurance lines, working closely with insurer clients to ensure claims are resolved efficiently, economically, and in line with policy coverage and claims philosophies.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Claims Assessor
to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing Professional Indemnity(PI) and Directors & Officers(D&O) claims while contributing to the continued success and reputation of Caytons Claims.
This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK. You may be required at times to be seconded to a client so flexibibilty with this will be required.
How You'll Make An Impact
Efficiently manage and progress Professional Indemnity claims towards resolution in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Review and interpret policy coverage, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Refer matters outside delegated authority to line managers and clients as appropriate.
Liaise with panel solicitors and ensure updates are provided as required.
Consistently apply insurer clients' claims and reserving philosophies to ensure claims are handled fairly and costs are controlled.
Deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders, contributing to Caytons Claims’ reputation as a leading TPA.
Maintain accurate and high-quality management information (MI) to support effective claims handling.
Handle additional claims types, such as Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Public Liability (PL), or Directors & Officers (D&O) claims, as required.
Assist with bordereaux management and reporting.
Provide on-site support to clients through temporary secondments, offering expertise and guidance as needed.
About You
Proven experience in handling Professional Indemnity claims.
Experience with handling D&O claims is also a requirements.
Previous experience of working under delegated authority.
A law degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous
Fantastic customer and client focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and core IT systems.
Exceptional planning, organising, negotiating, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
