The SF will attend clinic and operating sessions at James Paget Hospital in Gorleston approximately every second Thursday. There will also be a commitment with the services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn at a similar frequency, yet to be established.
Educational
It is expected that the SF will be actively involved in teaching spinal surgery to the junior medical staff in the orthopaedic department. Together with the spine firm registrar, he/she will organise the spine firm’s contribution to the departmental teaching programme and the FRCS (Orth) courses.
