Zeeco is seeking an experienced
Senior Combustion Engineer (EUCC) to join our global team of fired‑equipment specialists. This is a high‑impact, customer‑facing role supporting end users across refining, petrochemical, and related industries. You will apply your combustion expertise to diagnose equipment issues, deliver engineered solutions, and strengthen long‑term customer relationships across your assigned region.
This position is ideal for a technically strong, self‑driven engineer who thrives in the field, enjoys solving complex combustion challenges, and is motivated by helping customers achieve safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Combustion Equipment Expertise
- Diagnose all types of fired equipment, including furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, and ancillary systems.
- Assess mechanical integrity, operational suitability, and remaining equipment life.
- Identify failures, malfunctions, and develop engineered solutions.
- Recommend maintenance scopes, review completed work, and evaluate spare parts strategies.
- Conduct preliminary heater and furnace surveys and generate pre turnaround reports.
Flexible, hardworking, and collaborative team player.Proactive self starter able to work independently and under pressure.Strong troubleshooting and lateral problem solving abilities.Willingness to “go the extra mile” for customers.Ability to travel internationally, including to remote or challenging locations.Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.Strong presentation skills, including comfort presenting to large audiences.As this position is a remote based position visiting customer sites, you will need a Full UK Drivers Licence.
