The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Content and Communications Strategist to join our marketing and communications team and raise the bar for our campaign and thought‑leadership content. This role is ideal for someone with a strong communications background and experience delivering persuasive, high‑quality long‑form writing — including whitepapers, reports, campaign narratives and executive‑level content — while supporting the day‑to‑day needs of a busy communications function.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how complex climate, technical and commercial ideas are communicated to influence senior decision‑makers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of high‑impact marketing content including whitepapers, reports, campaign narratives, case studies and online communications.
  • Translate complex technical, sustainability and commercial concepts into clear, persuasive thought‑leadership content.
  • Edit and elevate content across the business to ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with brand values.
  • Maintain strong editorial standards and narrative coherence across campaigns.
  • Support PR, media relations, external communications and executive profiling.
  • Support announcements across funding, partnerships, product milestones and major customer wins.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in writing, communications or content roles within B2B, technology or mission‑driven organisations.
  • Demonstrated strength in persuasive long‑form writing (whitepapers, reports, narratives, opinion pieces).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical, sustainability or commercial concepts clearly and impactfully.
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and subject‑matter experts.
  • Comfortable working in marketing or communications teams delivering high‑impact campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas professionally and clearly.

  • Desirable

    • Experience in climate tech, sustainability, the built environment, energy or adjacent sectors.
    • Background in corporate communications or PR.
    • Familiarity with account‑based marketing or enterprise demand‑generation campaigns.

    Why Join Us

    • Work on content that influences real climate action.
    • Shape authoritative marketing narratives in a fast‑growing climate‑tech company.
    • Collaborate with experts across technology, sustainability and commercial teams.
    • High ownership, high standards and the space to do your best writing.
    • Competitive salary, benefits and flexible working.
