Senior Contract Administrator


Salary – Competitive

Hours – Full-time, 40 hours per week

Location & Postcode – Waltham Forest, E10 7AS


As a Senior Contract Administrator at FCC Environment, you will organise and supervise all administrative activities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office. You will manage and support the administration team, develop and improve processes, and ensure all activities are carried out in line with company policies, including health & safety requirements.


This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?


- Managing and supervising the administration team to ensure effective day-to-day operations

- Providing cover for administration staff during holidays and sickness

- Co-ordinating office activities to ensure maximum efficiency

- Overseeing all administrative functions within the service

- Managing payroll administration, timesheets and resourcing queries

- Liaising with recruitment agencies and ensuring onboarding documentation is processed accurately

- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training needs analysis

- Creating purchase orders, managing accruals and controlling departmental budgets

- Maintaining accurate filing systems, records and documentation

- Producing weekly reports for the Senior Contract Manager/Contract Manager

- Managing diaries and arranging meetings for senior management

- Ordering and controlling office supplies and stationery

- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety standards

- Providing administrative support to managers and supervisors as required


What are we looking for?


- Proven experience in office management or senior administration

- Experience managing and supervising an administration team

- Strong payroll, budget management and financial administration experience

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Confident user of Microsoft Office and relevant systems

- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with staff at all levels

- A professional, discreet and customer-focused approach
