Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering
- Design and implement cloud-based data platforms using medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) patterns.
- Build and optimise batch and real-time data pipelines supporting insurance use cases including:
- Policy underwriting and pre-binding
- Pricing and rating
- Claims and loss analytics
- Reinsurance and ceded reinsurance reporting
- Delegated Authority bordereaux ingestion
- Develop scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark on Databricks or Snowflake.
- Implement performant data ingestion from multiple sources including PAS, claims systems, broker platforms, third-party data providers, and market feeds.
- Ensure robust data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and auditability aligned to regulatory and actuarial expectations within the London Market.
