The Role
As a Senior Oracle CX DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the support, optimisation, and continuous development of SSE’s business-critical Oracle Hosted CRM/CX platforms, with a particular focus on OSvC and Customer Data Management (CDM).
Working within an Agile environment, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will drive DevOps best practices across the Oracle CX ecosystem, enabling efficient CI/CD processes, automation, and operational excellence across both project delivery and BAU support.
You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing architectural decisions, and ensuring alignment with SSE standards and governance.

You Will
- Take ownership of the technical support, stability, and ongoing improvement of SSE’s Oracle Hosted CRM/CX platforms, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.
- Extensive commercial experience delivering and supporting Oracle Hosted CRM/CX solutions, especially OSvC and CDM, from design through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Strong track record in DevOps-driven environments, with a deep understanding of CI/CD, release management, and environment strategies.
- Hands-on expertise in Oracle CX tooling, customisation, integration (APIs, web services, automation), and supporting business-critical systems for medium to large organisations.
