We’re looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the development of advanced electronic products used in demanding environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys owning designs end-to-end, working hands-on with hardware, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The client can offer one day per week home working with potentially more depending on the tasks being completed at the time.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving development environment where ideas move quickly from concept through to production.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and developing high-performance electronic circuits from concept to production
- Working across the full product lifecycle including simulation, schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, board bring-up, test and validation
- Developing ultra-low power and low-noise analogue circuits, embedded microcontroller systems, and high dynamic range signal processing solutions
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in electronics design within a commercial product development environment
- Confident using lab equipment and hardware debugging tools
- Experience developing analogue and embedded electronic systems
- Practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving
- Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer
- Experience supporting products in manufacturing and sustaining engineering
- Exposure to NPI and contract manufacturing is beneficial
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
