Location: North West England
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Lawyer with a solid employment law background to join a well‑regarded local authority legal team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, specialist legal advice across complex and sensitive matters, supporting senior decision‑makers within a large public‑sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload within employment law
- Providing expert legal advice to senior officers and stakeholders
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal documents
- Supporting strategic objectives and contributing to service development
- Handling high‑value, complex and politically sensitive matters
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive
