As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will take ownership of commissioning planning, delivery and integration activities across a diverse capital programme. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary technical point of contact, you will ensure that commissioning works are delivered in line with strategy, policy, and Health & Safety standards.
You’ll play a central role from early design review through to testing, commissioning, asset handover and decommissioning. You will identify risks, resolve technical issues, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure assets are safe, reliable, and ready for operation.
This role suits someone who thrives working independently, can manage multiple deadlines, adapts quickly to new processes, and consistently drives high‑quality engineering outcomes.
