Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
London (Hybrid)
Up to £78,000 base + 10% bonus
We are partnering with a highly reputable private equity-backed, multi-site business experiencing strong growth and ongoing expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a visible role with exposure to senior leadership and investors.
The Opportunity
This role will take ownership of statutory reporting and consolidation across a complex, multi-entity structure. You’ll play a key part in delivering a high-quality audit, enhancing financial controls, and driving improvements in reporting processes within a fast-paced, investor-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS / FRS 101
- Manage group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and coordinate the audit process end-to-end
- Produce technical accounting papers across key areas (e.g. leases, revenue, impairment)
- Strengthen financial controls and improve audit readiness
- Support month-end and quarter-end close on complex accounting areas
- Drive process improvements and automation within reporting and consolidation
- Manage and develop junior team members
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with c.5+ years PQE
- Strong technical accounting experience (IFRS / FRS 101)
- Proven track record in statutory reporting and managing audits in multi-entity environments
- Experience with consolidations and complex group structures
- Background in a Top 10 audit firm is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate at pace
- Confident stakeholder manager with experience working in PE-backed or fast-growth environments
