About The Team And The Role
The Senior Integrated Designer at EAT by Ocado is responsible for creating and executing design solutions across a range of media, ensuring a cohesive and integrated brand experience.
This role involves developing creative concepts, executing high-quality designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet marketing and branding objectives. This also includes all production as well and will be expected to concept, design and produce digital first assets.
The Senior Integrated Designer plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of Ocado, delivering consistent and engaging design work across various channels, including digital, print, and new channels.
What You'll Do
Design Development and Execution
- Create and execute design concepts across a variety of media, including print, digital, displays, social media, video, and more.
- Develop designs that align with Ocado's visual identity and marketing goals.
- Ensure high-quality execution and attention to detail in all design deliverables.
Integrated Design Solutions
- Design integrated marketing campaigns and collateral that create a cohesive brand experience across multiple touchpoints.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project objectives and support marketing strategies.
- Adapt design concepts for different formats and channels, ensuring consistency and adaptability.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, videographers, art directors, marketing managers, and other team members to develop and execute creative concepts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of creative ideas and campaigns.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve design outcomes.
Brand Consistency and Quality Control
- Ensure all design work adheres to Ocado's guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Review and proof design assets to ensure accuracy and quality, making revisions as needed.
- Ensure that all design deliverables are completed on time and meet or exceed expectations.
Project Management and Organisation
- Work with the Creative Operations team to help manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Work with your delivery manager to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Maintain organised files and assets, ensuring easy retrieval and reference for future projects.
Industry Trends and Innovation
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies.
- Incorporate new design trends and innovative approaches into creative projects, as appropriate.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance design skills and industry knowledge.
Who You Are
- An experienced Senior Integrated Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital-first asset creation.
- Passionate about bringing brands to life and developing cohesive design solutions across diverse digital media. (Even better if you have print experience)
- A collaborative team player who effortlessly bridges creative concepts with flawless execution working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Possessing a keen eye for detail, ensuring every design adheres to brand guidelines and consistently exceeds expectations.
- Proactive and organised, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work on time.
- Continuously curious and staying ahead of industry trends, eager to incorporate innovative approaches to shape the Ocado brand's visual identity.
