RS Group is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to join our growing Integrations Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (SAP IS). Your work will enable seamless data flow and connectivity between critical systems including SAP, cloud platforms, eCommerce, and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
You’ll collaborate closely with IT stakeholders and business leaders to translate integration needs into scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. This is a hands-on development role that also includes elements of architecture, support, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, configure, and implement integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/IS) based on business requirements.
- Deliver integration solutions across ERP and eCommerce systems, ensuring alignment with security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Own the architecture and technical design of SAP and non-SAP integrations.
- Proactively monitor interfaces to ensure stability, availability, and performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for integration strategy, tools, and implementation best practices.
- Partner with solution architects, developers, and business teams to develop interfaces that support evolving business processes.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate middleware tools and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve integration-related issues in both development and production environments.
- Manage the health, uptime, and support of integrations platforms and middleware tools.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior developers, contributing to the growth and maturity of the integration team.
About You: You’re a solutions-focused integration developer who enjoys solving complex data flow challenges across systems. You take a structured, thoughtful approach to building interfaces and thrive in environments where attention to detail and reliability are critical.
You’re confident in your technical capabilities but also enjoy collaborating across disciplines—working closely with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders. You’re naturally curious, continuously seeking to improve processes, tools, and your own technical knowledge. Whether you’re designing architecture or debugging a tough issue, you bring clarity, energy, and professionalism to your work.
You enjoy mentoring others and leading by example—sharing knowledge, improving team practices, and helping to build a culture of technical excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in developing integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/IS).
- Hands-on experience creating interfaces between SAP and third-party systems such as Salesforce, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and eCommerce platforms.
- Ability to design and implement advanced data transformations, message mappings, and complex business logic using Groovy and JavaScript within SAP CPI.
- Strong working knowledge of key connectivity protocols and adapters (e.g., IDoc, RFC, SFTP, SOAP, REST, BAPIs, JMS, JDBC, AS2).
- Understanding of SAP-delivered integration APIs and formats, including JSON and SOAP.
- Familiarity with integration monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within SAP IS.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Mulesoft, SAP PI/PO, or other middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with messaging and event-driven architecture tools like JMS or Advanced Event Mesh.
- Understanding of EDI X.12 standards and experience with building EDI maps is a strong plus
