About The Role

As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll lead the design and delivery of robust technology solutions that align with business goals and enterprise standards. From early shaping to hands-on solution delivery and governance, you'll ensure we translate strategy into tangible outcomes across a complex and evolving technology landscape.

You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across IT, business teams, and external partners—balancing long-term architectural vision with short-term tactical needs. This is your opportunity to influence how technology enables change in a high-impact, forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy and capabilities into effective, scalable solution architectures.
• Guide solution design across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Lead architecture reviews, design assurance and technology evaluations across projects and platforms.
• Partner with product owners, delivery teams, and PMO to ensure smooth delivery and architectural compliance.
• Identify legacy risks and define roadmaps to modernise and transform the application portfolio.
• Contribute to developing architectural standards, patterns, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Influence and support agile teams in architectural decision-making and long-term planning.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a credible, influential architect with a strong balance of business acumen, technical depth, and people skills. You'll bring:

• Proven experience delivering architecture in complex environments, across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Ability to translate future-state business requirements into clear architectural solutions.
• Expertise in enterprise application portfolios, API design, systems integration, and cloud platforms.
• A pragmatic, change-driven mindset and a passion for coaching and guiding others.
• Excellent communication skills—able to engage stakeholders at all levels and simplify complexity.
• Strong awareness of emerging technologies and trends, and how to apply them practically.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Post-graduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile and product delivery methodologies.
• Experience developing architecture roadmaps, strategies, and solution blueprints.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
• Industry-specific experience is a plus, but not essential.
