Interim Senior Legal Counsel. Renewable Energy Infrastructure. 3 Month FTC (Potential Extension).
We are currently working with a fast-growing renewable energy infrastructure business that is seeking to appoint an Interim Senior Legal Counsel on an initial 3-month fixed term contract. The role is to start ASAP and will facilitate a hybrid working arrangement, with a few days per week expected in their London office. Whilst the contract is for an initial 3 month duration, there is potential for further extension.
The organisation operates within the energy and infrastructure sector and develops, finances and operates private renewable energy projects for major enterprise customers across the UK. Their client base includes large-scale technology, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical and other blue-chip organisations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the successful individual will act as the principal legal advisor to the business during a critical period of growth and project delivery.
The role will involve handling a broad range of commercial, projects, construction and corporate legal matters. Whilst external counsel support is available, the successful lawyer will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across the business.
