Senior Locally Employed Doctor (Higher) in Foot and Ankle

Applications are invited for one post of Senior Foot & Ankle Fellow at the Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation trust. The post will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital. Elective operating takes place at the purpose-built Manchester Orthopaedic Centre at Trafford Hospital and Wythenshawe hospital. The post-holder will join a dynamic and innovative Foot & Ankle team with active research and clinical interests. The post will involve wide exposure in arthroscopic and open Foot & Ankle surgery, including trauma.

Essential

• Basic Medical Degree
• MRCS or equivalent
• FRCS (Orth)

Desirable

• Equivalent/Post CCT

Experience

Essential

• Minimum of 12 months full time UK hospital service at ST 6-8 / Specialty Doctor (Registrar Level) in Orthopaedics
• Ability to deal with most routine trauma
• Experience within various subspecialties of orthopaedic surgery. Experience Foot and Ankle surgery
