Senior Management Accountant - Cost
Location: Hybrid – must be able to get to central London or Basingstoke
The Opportunity
Intragen, an international Cybersecurity Consultancy, is seeking a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA preferred) with 4+ years’ PQE to take ownership of our group cost base and deliver robust, reliable management accounts.
Operating across six countries, you’ll work closely with local external accountants and internal budget holders to provide insight into performance, cost control, and profitability. This is a broad, hands-on role within a small but growing finance team, offering real ownership and impact.
You’ll report to the Head of Finance and manage an Assistant Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounting
- Prepare monthly management accounts (local GAAP compliant)
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Analyse variances and report KPIs
Purchase to Pay
- Own the full P2P process (PO to payment)
Cash & Banking
- Maintain loan and interest schedules
- Manage bank relationships and reconciliations
- Support cashflow forecasting
Audit & Compliance
- Prepare audit schedules and statutory accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and support tax advisors
- Ensure payroll compliance and prepare bonus/commission calculations
Payroll & Staff Costs
- Review payrolls and related returns
- Monitor and report on staff costs
Fixed Assets & Group Accounting
- Maintain fixed asset and goodwill registers
- Manage intra-group recharges
- Support acquisition accounting
People & Business Partnering
- Manage and develop the Assistant Accountant
- Build strong relationships with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making

- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA), 4+ years’ PQE
