We are looking for a visionary Senior Manager, AI & Analytics to lead our high-impact team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and UI specialists. In this role, you will shape how data, automation and AI are used across the PRA—bridging modern data foundations, cutting edge AI products and supervisory need, supporting the broader mission of the Bank/PRA.
You will lead a dual‑speed team: one building robust, scalable data platforms for SupTech capabilities, and the other pioneering innovative GenAI, LLM and predictive modelling solutions within Bank boundaries.
The AI & Analytics Team is a team within RDI’s operating model, working collaborative with the wider division to accelerate data-driven innovation across the PRA. As Senior Manager, you will lead the technical, analytical, and engineering remit, developing modern data capabilities, enabling responsible AI adoption, and driving delivery of high‑impact analytics products.
This role blends hands‑on technical leadership with people leadership, execution oversight, and cross‑PRA engagement. You will shape how the PRA uses data, automation, AI, and analytical tooling to support supervision, policy, risk and operational excellence.
This role is part of the RDI leadership group. You need to work collaboratively across RDI, ARTIS, PRA and with wider Bank functions including DAT and Technology, to ensure data and technology tooling is managed responsibly, used effectively, and governed in line with Bank-wide policies, controls, and strategic objectives.
More broadly, as part of the wider ARTIS senior manager community the role holder will also champion the Bank’s “Our Bank” culture – human, humble and in step with a changing world – while actively promoting an inclusive and supportive working environment. As part of this they will contribute to divisional leadership through cross ARTIS collaboration.
This is a people management role. You will be responsible for day to day management of the team and for defining roles and responsibilities. You will develop your team through sharing information effectively, coaching and communicating a clear vision to ensure that your staff are productive, engaged and motivated to deliver the area's aims. This will include setting clear goals and smart stretching objectives that are aligned to those of the team, division and directorate. You will also be responsible for managing all staff-related matters that may arise including performance, absence and sickness.

We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
This role offers a salary of circa £97,920 - £110,000
