This is an exceptional and rare opportunity to join our talented team of Senior Managers within the Cared For, Care Experienced and Children with Disabilities Service.

About this opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager to lead the delivery of our Corporate Parenting priorities, drive improvements in outcomes, and influence the development of high‑quality services for our children and young people.

The successful candidate will be a proven strategic leader who can motivate teams, champion best practice and ensure the consistent delivery of excellent services. You will bring substantial experience of working with children and young people in complex situations and will be skilled at building strong partnerships across agencies and wider services. Your leadership will help shape and sustain high‑quality care and support for children, young people and families across Westmorland and Furness.

Who we are looking for…

You must hold a social work degree and be registered with Social Work England. You will bring substantial expertise and specialist knowledge relevant to this area of practice. In this role, you will offer expert advice to colleagues across the organisation and wider partnership, lead service transformation, build strong and purposeful multi‑agency relationships, and drive shared outcomes.
