About The Team
The Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) team at Airwallex is a collaborative group of legal professionals and risk management experts. As the Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, LRCO (Legal, Risk & Compliance Office), you will be reporting to the Chief of Staff of LRC and will be part of a team of ex-top consultants focusing on enhancing and upgrading the division’s strategy and processes. This role offers the potential to build and lead a high-performing team, scaling the governance program company-wide.

What You’ll Do
As the Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, LRCO (Legal, Risk & Compliance Office), you will be reporting to the Chief of Staff of LRC and will be part of a team of ex-top consultants focusing on enhancing and upgrading the division’s strategy and processes. This role offers the potential to build and lead a high-performing team, scaling the governance program company-wide.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end ownership of high-stakes strategic initiatives and 'CEO-level' special projects that define our global trajectory.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and force multiplier for executive leadership, navigating complex cross-functional landscapes to align global stakeholders on mission-critical deliverables.
You have a 'founder's mentality'—you are equally comfortable debating high-level strategy with the C-suite as you are rolling up your sleeves to build a new process from scratch.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience, with a proven track record of leadership in a top-tier strategy consultancy (MBB preferred) or a high-growth environment
- Someone who enjoys ‘getting things done’ and finds ways to drive tangible outcomes
- A strategic thinker and analytical in your approach to developing strategies
- Success-oriented and hold yourself accountable for delivering key outcomes
- Someone who works collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures
- Technology, financial services and/or experience in a high growth environment is advantageous
- Experience with tool procurement, vendor management, and process automation
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or relevant certification).
