Position Summary:
As a Senior Medical Writer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and supervising the development of sophisticated, scientifically accurate medical content that aligns with client objectives and project specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and external experts, engaging in multiple projects from inception through completion. Your contributions will elevate the company’s reputation in oncology communications and directly support the mission to improve patient care across the globe. As a key team member, you’ll have the opportunity to influence project direction, mentor junior writers, and participate in strategic planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of accurate, compliant medical content tailored to diverse audiences and therapeutic areas.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and external thought leaders to support project success.
- Support and mentor junior writers, promoting talent development and quality assurance.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, guidelines, and scientific advances to maintain high standards of compliance and relevance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; a Master’s or PhD is highly preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience within a medical communications agency
- Proven ability to adapt scientific content for various audiences and therapeutic areas.
- Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent research skills and familiarity with industry standards and guideline
