- Diploma qualified
- Previous experience in an IFA environment
- Previous experience writing suitability reports
- Knowledge of research tools (Financial Express Analytics, Iress The Exchange)
- Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems
- Organisation and prioritisation skills
- A good understanding of regulatory requirements
- Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
- Experience using Intelliflo Office (preferable)
- Experience of cashflow modelling
- A thorough knowledge of Pensions, Investments and Protection products
- A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to perform technical calculations
Desirable
- Chartered or working towards becoming chartered
- A minimum of three years in a technical Paraplanner role
- Experience mentoring Paraplanners
- Excellent presentation skills
