Role:
In this role you will be part of a team that has responsibility to design, build, and operationalise a production-grade Architecture as Code platform that enables our client to manage architecture documentation, standards, and governance as version-controlled code — with automated validation, AI-powered design review, infrastructure drift detection, and a conversational AI agent for natural language Q&A across the architecture estate.
The Senior Platform and AI Engineer role will be responsible for building and integrating the CI/CD pipelines, AI-powered review system, document generation tooling, and published architecture portal. Working across the full platform stack from GitHub Actions / Azure Pipelines through to LLM orchestration and static site deployment.

The Senior Platform and AI Engineer role will be responsible for building and integrating the CI/CD pipelines, AI-powered review system, document generation tooling, and published architecture portal. Working across the full platform stack from GitHub Actions / Azure Pipelines through to LLM orchestration and static site deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the validation pipelines (markdown linting, Mermaid syntax checking, frontmatter validation, internal link verification) with inline PR feedback
- Develop the AI review orchestration layer including triage routing, five parallel reviewer personas, structured comment posting, and multi-model LLM integration
- Strong software engineering in Python with experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI or OpenAI) including prompt engineering, structured output parsing, retry/backoff, and token budget management
- Proficiency with Git workflows, branch protection, code review automation, and static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo, or similar)
- Experience building agentic or multi-persona AI systems with configurable prompts and routing logic
- Familiarity with markdown tooling ecosystems (markdown lint, Mermaid, YAML frontmatter processing)
- Prior work on developer experience or internal platform tooling in an enterprise setting
