About the role:
- Taking ownership for specific market segments, including:
-Responsibility for daily price generation.
-Ensuring calculations are accurate and aligned with GX methodology.
-Engagement and relationship-building with participants and data contributors in this segment.
- Development of trade and data-based market insights and analysis to contextualise price movements.
- Working closely with Sales and other teams to help clients understand and adopt GX data.
- Contributing to the identification and development of new markets, from early research through to index launch.
- Support GX webinars, publications and other thought-leadership content.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing knowledge and best practice.
About you:
- 2–3 years’ experience in price discovery, price reporting, or a related role within oil or energy markets.
- A relevant degree or qualification (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar), or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong numerical skills and a careful, detail-oriented approach.
