🚀 Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! 🚀 The Process engineer will support the design of complex thermal and fluid systems for the Rolls Royce SMR project. This exciting new build project is embracing innovation to deliver a commercially . The role will provide analysis and calculation support across Turbine Island systems and will contribute to an internal centre of excellence for analysis and calculation methodology. Along with the cross-cutting lead you will generate static and transient flow and thermal analyses using various software tools and methods to demonstrate the system performance.

🎓 Qualifications:
- 🏭Experience: Background in the nuclear sector or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas.
- 🚀Technical Expertise: Knowledge of steam turbines, condensers, feedwater heaters, pumps, and piping systems.
- 🛠️Project Delivery: Experience from FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery.
- 📋Procurement & Supplier Liaison: Skilled in developing procurement specs and working with suppliers.
- 🗣️Communication: Excellent skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- ⚖️Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, and HAZOP.
- 📜Codes & Standards: Understanding of ASME, European, and UK standards.
- 🔄Systems Engineering: Experience or awareness desirable.
- 🛡️ Security: BPSS and SC required.
- ✈️ Travel Ready: Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK.
