About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement & SRM Partner to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in either our London, Euston Road or Oldham, Bower House office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
The overall purpose of the role is to develop and deliver Procurement, Contract and Supplier Relationship strategies to support business and operational delivery and achieve value for money throughout Guinness.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead the delivery of large‑scale, cost‑effective and compliant procurement solutions that drive value for money, strengthen operational performance, and manage organisational risk with confidence. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we work with our suppliers, using your expertise in contract management and supplier relationship strategies to unlock additional value and ensure robust commercial governance.
You’ll be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Experience of delivering large scale cost effective and compliant procurement solutions across a range of functions that deliver VFM, enable operational efficiencies and appropriately manage risk.
- Significant experience of generating additional value through contract and supplier relationship management strategies.
- Experience of developing and implementing procurement, contract management and supplier relationship policies.
- Experience of identifying contract management best practice and conducting contract assurance reviews.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proven programme and PMO management experience, including oversight of multiple concurrent programmes, ideally in a commercial environment.
- Knowledge and experience of working within the Public Contract Regulations.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within a procurement function across a geographically dispersed environment.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- MCIPS qualified and/or equivalent.
- Project or programme management professional qualification and/or equivalent.
Desirable:
- IAACM qualified and/or equivalent.
