🔑 What You'll Be Doing
- Lead a team of c.50 colleagues, including Team Leaders, driving performance in a safety-first culture.
- Deliver right-first-time, on-time production, consistently hitting client requirements.
- Champion quality and continuous improvement, reducing defects and increasing efficiencies.
- Foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing, role-modelling positive behaviours.
- Manage budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective delivery while planning ahead for future demand.
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or operational environments (ideally precast concrete but not essential).
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate, engage and develop a diverse team.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, always seeking ways to improve performance.
- A working knowledge of safety management and commitment to operational excellence.
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, Power BI, or similar operational tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
