We are seeking a talented Senior Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of a major Defence Programme in Reading. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining project controls processes across a complex, high‑profile programme, working within an Integrated client Team that operates under a strong “One Team” culture.

You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining project controls processes across a complex, high‑profile programme, working within an Integrated client Team that operates under a strong “One Team” culture.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Supporting the Project Controls Lead and Project Managers in the introduction and implementation of project controls processes, procedures, and systems.
- Assisting in leading, coaching, and supporting members of the Project Controls team.
- Ensuring visibility, accuracy, and transparency of the project critical path.
- Interfacing with engineering, procurement, commercial, and wider project teams to coordinate controls activities across your allocated scope.
- Acting as the focal point for schedule control, progress definition, and resource allocation recommendations.
- HND or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying, or a related field.
- Strong project controls expertise with specialist experience in at least one area: cost control, scheduling, risk management or PMO support.
- Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working within complex delivery environments with multiple contractors and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to use project controls software and systems (e.g., P6, SAP, PRISM, RiskHive, AM, Power BI).
- Nuclear sector experience (desirable, but not essential).
- Proven experience in project controls or project management within a construction or consultancy environment.
