Senior Project Manager (North-East) – Energy Performance Contracts

Are you a senior, commercially astute Project Manager who thrives on complexity, leadership, and real-world sustainability impact? We’re looking for someone to take ownership of a portfolio of Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs) from Investment Grade Audit through to construction, commissioning and long-term M&V.
This is a high-visibility role where you’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage major client relationships, and own cost, programme and quality outcomes across complex energy retrofit projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the single point of contact for clients across multiple EPC projects
- Owning Cost, Time, Quality, cash flow and P&L across your portfolio
- Leading projects from design development to commissioning and M&V
- Managing and developing a multi-disciplinary delivery team and key contractors
- Embedding a strong QSHE culture and ensuring safe project delivery
- Working closely with Engineering, Commercial and QSHE teams to get results
- Supporting business growth, bids and early-stage project development
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of Energy Performance Contracts and energy/carbon reduction
- Confidence managing clients, contractors and senior stakeholders
- Solid commercial acumen, including budget and P&L responsibility
- Working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience delivering projects in live retrofit environments

- Passionate about sustainability and carbon reduction
APM qualification and an engineering degree are preferred but not essential.
