A top-tier global trading firm is expanding its Central Liquidity team and hiring a Senior Quantitative Developer to help shape the infrastructure behind its execution and alpha research capabilities.
This role sits at the core of how the firm deploys capital and optimises execution across asset classes. You’ll work closely with senior quants to build scalable research tooling, production-grade data workflows, and robust model evaluation frameworks that directly influence trading decisions.
The Opportunity
- Architect and scale a next-generation research and experimentation platform
- Turn complex data into actionable insights across execution strategies
- Drive engineering standards across testing, CI, automation, and performance
- Influence technical direction and mentor junior developers
- Operate at the intersection of research, engineering, and live trading
Ideal Background
- Strong Python experience in a buy-side or systematic trading environment
- Experience building research or ML infrastructure at scale
- Solid understanding of statistics and model evaluation
- Familiarity with modern ML/data tooling (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, visualisation libraries)
- Comfortable debugging performance across data-heavy applications
